Hands-on health technology – Living Lab in Heidelberg

Heidelberg is an internationally recognized hubspot for medical advances and health technology services of the highest quality. The idea of a pop-up “living lab” for wearable technologies fits perfectly into this context and was initiated by the Office for Economic Development and Science of the City of Heidelberg. Companies and start-ups from the healthcare and technology sector has been given a platform to present their products and services to representatives from not only the business sector, but also the political sector and the healthcare sector.

It is a very special honour for Nemlia to be invited to take part in this initiative. The Nemlia team has invested a lot of time and creativity into the presence on site: „It was important for us to present the application of Nemlia in a practical and realistic way. The great advantage of Nemlia technology is that it can be installed and operated individually and intuitively. That’s why we wanted to create an authentic set-up that invites people to try it out and exchange ideas,“ said Robert Liebhold, Sales Expert at Nemlia.

New opportunities for the healthcare industry through smart technologies

The concept of the pop-up “Living Lab” is ideal for presenting regional innovations in the field of wearable technologies and a great leap in making them accessible and understandable for the general public. This has been a unique opportunity for Nemlia to not only present its portfolio, but also to discuss fundamental developments in the care and healthcare industry. „Many social developments can be improved enormously through smart technologies, putting people and their well-being right back at the center stage. This change should take hold in the care sector in particular, as this is where the demand is currently highest,“ emphasised Robert Liebhold, Sales Expert at Nemlia.

Smart connections and a diverse network are important for this change to succeed. The pop-up “Living Lab”, which is managed by the „Do Tank Network for Wearable Technologies“, has created an important basis. The pop-up will remain open until the end of September, offering anyone interested the chance to experience healthcare technology up close. A change you can feel.

We at Nemlia would like to present our solution in person and are always available for a joint appointment on site. Arrange it here.
